It is one of the few mid-sized for-profit groups that has retained family ownership and has built a specific reputation for Italian and Greek CALD-specialist sites, an unusual positioning at a time when most for-profit growth is in volume mass-market homes. The Concorde home in Carlisle is the operational flagship, a 180-bed home with respite, dementia-specific and palliative-care capability. CALD programming is genuine across the WA portfolio, with first-language nursing staff and culturally-appropriate menus at the Italian and Greek sites in particular, and chaplaincy arrangements with the relevant Orthodox and Catholic parishes. Pricing is mid-market for the WA private segment: a maximum RAD of $525,000 alongside the regulated $63.57 daily fee. The ACQSC awarded a Good (4-star) overall rating, which is solid for a 180-bed for-profit and competitive against the larger national operators.
